Flag Raising requests are approved by the Town of Ajax and help bring awareness to specific causes, national days or acknowledge the effort and commitment of an organization. Requests should be submitted a minimum of four weeks in advance of the date the recognition is required.
A limit of one flag raising request for any individual, group, team or organization will be issued within the calendar year.
Flags should be void of any corporate advertising, approximately 3ft by 6 ft. (1:2 ratio) to accommodate the height of the Town's flagpole (17'-20' in height), have a wooden toggle attachment on the top side of the flag and a small piece of rope on the bottom.
