The Town of Ajax manages the Garbage Cans in Town Parks, Sports fields, Trails and Roads. If your issue relates to a full garbage can or a damaged garbage can in these locations, please report your concern online.
The Region of Durham provides garbage, green bin, and yard waste collection services in Ajax. The Region also collects bulky and metal items, electronic waste, porcelain, and batteries. If you have questions or concerns about your waste collection, please call the Region of Durham at 311 (within Regional limits) or 1-800-372-1102 or visit the Region’s Waste Management website.

Concerns regarding garbage and litter around community mailboxes should be made directly to Canada Post. To report a concern call 1-866-607-6301
Bus Stop Litter:
Concerns regarding garbage and litter around bus stops/shelters should be made directly to Durham Region Transit. To report a concern call 1-866-247-0055 or send an email to drthelps@durham.ca
